-Who have you decided to dress up as today?
Lydia Deetz from the cartoon Beetlejuice.

-What is her super power?
The way I see it, the only way a little girl or a young teen could travel to the Netherworld is if she was a Necromancer. I’d say she’s able to tap into the underworld and death and use that power to do some mild telekinesis or she talks to the dead and helps them move on.

-What drew you to this character? This power?
Well, one, it’s a really impressive skill to be able to talk to the dead. Probably would get boring after a while but if you go to different places, not only are you seeing how it is you see the people, you see who used to live there and who haunts around and why are they still haunting around. And if they give her a little bit of power she’s able to do some mainly good things.

-Do you think she would be good or evil?
She’d probably be more like Beetlejuice and not really conspire to do anything naughty or bad but not always turning out to be good for her. Chaotic good. It might not work out for you but it might work out for someone else.

-Is there something about the style that appeals to you, it can be intimidating, to other people, no?
I always appreciated a character who was good but didn’t look like a Disney princess. You can be wearing all black and be a little bit creepy and like the morbid side of things and not be a horrible person. Live the creepier side of life. Doesn’t mean she doesn’t enjoy a beautiful sunny day she just wishes there were more bugs out.
